Wow, I didn't freeze doing chores this morning, it was wonderful!

Brother-in-Law and his wife were here for lunch last Sunday.  We had a good meal and a nice visit.

Monday, Daughter had a doctors appointment in Ann Arbor.  We left around 7:15 AM right on time.  But, we ended up being one hour late for the first appointment.  We got caught in a huge parking lot on the expressway!  Thank goodness for cell phones.  She was able to call and let them know why we were late and make arrangements.  She was suppose to have three different appointments!  As it worked out, the possible surgery will not be done.  More risk then reward, at least in her case.

Since it went from three appointments to only one we were able to visit with Middle Son and the Grandkids after we had a quick lunch.  I was a good visit.  Now I can tell everyone that I will be having another Grandchild come this August.  That will make six for me!

Tuesday was Meals on Wheels and just the usual winter nothings.

Wednesday was Meals again and then the Fiber Gathering.  It was a good day.  Especially when I got home and my new mixer had arrived!

Thursday I spent playing with my mixer!  I made two different breads and an angel food cake, fun fun!  That Kitchen Aid Professional 600 sure makes light work of it all.  It is fast too.

Friday I didn't have any get up and go, so I was lazy all day.  I decided that starting in February I would begin to spring clean, but until then I was on vacation.

Saturday I went ice skating with Oldest Son and family.  It was an indoor rink.  We had a good time, it has been two years since I skated last and I was a bit shakey, but I managed to keep myself upright at all times.  I wish I could skate more often, I did when I was a kid and when we had the pond, and always find it fun.  The more I skate, the better I would be which would make it even more fun.

Today is a beautiful sunny and 30 degree warm day.  Funny how 10 degrees can make such a difference!  It felt WARM!

Got word today that the table and frame that my Brother was making for me is done and the lake he lives on is frozen good...I can come down and get the projects and go ice fishing while there.

I have really wanted to try ice fishing, so now I am trying to decide when I have time to take another day off and go play again.  It must be quite soon so that the ice is good.  It really won't be long and we will be getting the freeze thaw freeze thing going and then the ice won't be safe.  Looks like I should be going very soon!  Spring cleaning may be put on hold at least for one day!

This warm spell isn't suppose to last very long and then cold again.  That's okay, it is still winter and I don't have any kids due so I guess I can deal with it.

So much for this past week.  No real grand plans for the upcoming one, maybe some spring cleaning, or maybe I will just take off and go ice fishing while it is good and cold.
